Before my mad rush to knit Christmas hats I knitted this "folk art" hat for myself -- and to see if my daughter liked it so I could knit one for her. She did! And now I'm knitting my 2nd one from this pattern -- except it's in grays and purples. Many different yarns in those color families. I like it so far and just hope she does.
