One Row Lace Scarf

A WIP -- work-in-progress -- using the One Row Scarf pattern. The photo below doesn’t show the lovely green color of this yarn -- top one is better. Not the easiest yarn to work with, but I love the result. This is still about 2/3 complete -- but I haven’t been working on it steadily. It’s the best result yet in my learn-to-knit-lacy-things project, and I’m very happy with it.

Hat Binge

I must have needed to finish something -- so over the weekend I've started and finished two knitted hats. Neither will be for me -- I hope someone can wear them. Used up some of my huge stash and the hats turned out pretty good. Tempted to start another, but there are surely other things I need to get done today. It's nice how knitting -- and finishing a knitted project -- can melt away frustration -- as long as the knitting itself isn't frustrating. The pattern -- Ground Flower Hat -- was simple, but the yarn was interesting so they weren't boring.

Lovin' this first baby blanket

I am really enjoying knitting this baby blanket -- pattern: Breezy Baby Blanket from Pickles. I think I like doing lacy patterns, but I'll see how this turns out! This, plus a little hat (below or one like it) are for Amber's baby, due in May.

#2 of 12

Started and finished a baby hat last night -- mainly so I could get another project done for the 12in2012 group on Ravelry. I also wanted to see how the pattern would match the baby blanket I'm making for Amber's baby. It may be a little small -- jury's still out on that one. But I can make a bigger one after I get the blanket done. I really love the blanket. Here's the hat -- pictures of blanket as a WIP to follow.
